BEPA has many years of experience in the Wind Turbine Generator industry ranging from managing development of new turbine programmes, introducing design into protypes, to optimizing the existing fleet for operational efficiency.

 

A few examples of consultancies:

 

Prototype test campaign execution

Technical project management and execution of loads and power performance verification for type certification of turbines. The projects include gathering internal stakeholder requirements to the tests, scoping the work and contract agreement with accredited institutes, planning sensor instrumentation of prototype turbines, data quality control, stakeholder engagement and management, test execution and finally reporting the results to the certification.

Database design and toolchain modernisation

Migration of data storage from servers to Microsoft Azure. To support and utilize the new possibilities that a metadata enriched database provides, the toolchains that use the data are modernized and improved to incorporate the powerful Kusto Query Language.

Project Management

Project management of continuous improvement cases with scoping (data collection and analysis) leading to design and verification of solutions in the market – this for several technology areas from power train to fastening and securing components. The full supply chain is involved in the solution phase and several problem-solving techniques are applied (DMAIC, 8D etc.).

Programme Management

Responsibility for scoping, specifying, designing and implementing new turbine models including new Blades, Hub, Nacelle and Tower including internals. Scope of programme from initial market strategy to fully functioning prototype. Responsible for progress, delivery plan, cost management, quality, etc.
